As promised yesterday, here are some more photos from a lovely home shoot I did last week in Kingston upon Thames. The stars of the shoot, two little ballerinas, were quite happy to just practise their ballet steps, chat and play together. This is the advantage of having a portrait shoot in your own home or somewhere you visit regularly such as a park. It means that your children will feel much more at ease since they’re in familiar surroundings. And it also allows me to get more candid shots rather than posed photos so you get a snapshot of your child at a particular moment in time just being themselves.
Home shoots are very relaxed and I’m always happy to let the little stars of the shoot look at themselves in the back of the camera (as the iPhone image snapped by one of their mummies shows…).
