A photo shoot via Facetime?? It sounds crazy, but it works really well.
Here are some photos from a newborn shoot last weekend to prove it.
How it works:
We have an initial chat on Facetime to suss out the best place(s) to do your shoot depending on the time of day and light available then.
We book in a time for the actual shoot (it should only take around 30 minutes).
I Facetime you at the agreed time.
You attach your iPhone to a tripod and put it on a stable surface. If you don’t have a tripod, a tin of beans with an elastic band on it works just as well (I’m not even joking).
Through the magic of Facetime, we go around your house and I take some lovely photos of you/ your kids/ pets/whoever you want in the photos.
The photos are saved into the photos folder on my phone and I download and edit them in Photoshop to make them even lovelier.
When they’re ready, I send you a link to download your edited photos.
What you need:
an iPhone 6 or higher (only works with iPhones sorry!)
Some good light. Ideally from a window.
You. Alone or with others (family, pets, it’s up to you…).
That’s it. Although feel free to add in any props you’d like.
What you get:
- Some lovely photos of you and yours that you can use on social media and share with friends and family who might not have seen you throughout lockdown
- The chance to have a photo shoot in your own home with all your lovely things around you.
How much is it?
This would normally cost £75 (£5 donated to NHS Charities Together) but as a special Father’s Day offer, but book by 30 June and get it for £55 (£5 of this goes to NHS Charities Together).
