The stunning setting of gothic Strawberry Hill House – which I think looks like a wedding cake itself – provided the backdrop for this lovely spring wedding. With beautiful architecture and rooms painted in different heritage colours, we were spoilt for choice when deciding where to take the photos. Following the wedding ceremony, the bridal party made its way by a London taxi wedding car to a reception overlooking Hampton Court Palace. With handmade wooden signs, a knitted bride and groom cake topper, home-baked cake and even handcrafted posts from which the lanterns hung – this was very much a family affair. After guests had enjoyed a round or two of crazy golf and sampled the delights of the local ale van, they sat down to a feast from MyPieLondon.com, just as the rain started.
